Meet Pastor Noah
Pastor Noah (he/him) was called as Atonement’s pastor in 2015. He also serves under contract with St. Michael’s Lutheran (Kensington). Additionally, he is the current Dean of the Central Philadelphia Conference of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Synod.
Additionally, he is also the Director of Institutional Assessment for United Lutheran Seminary and occasionally teaches in an adjunct capacity there. Noah’s passion for Church History developed out of a crisis of Faith and the cultural proximity we have in our current age to the Church of the 2nd through 4th centuries.
Noah appeared in Netflix’s Queer Eye – season five, episode one. And when he isn’t nerding out on theology, he frequently can be found geeking out with computer or tabletop games. Noah's passion for Queer Theology developed as it liberated him to experience God's grace anew.

Vicar Connor Watson, Pastoral Intern
Connor Watson (he/him) is a student in the Master of Divinity (M.Div.) program at United Lutheran Seminary. Connor is a proud graduate of Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, PA (Class of 2019) and Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY (B.A., Politics; Class of 2023).

When not studying or working, Connor and his husband Ronnie enjoy time spent together with their families, including a total of 7 nieces and nephews! Connor is thrilled to be with the saints of Atonement and St. Michael's and looks forward to journeying forward in ministry together! -
Barbara Curtin, Newsletter Editor and Team Member
After spending almost 40 years at a large suburban church, Barbara Curtin (she/her) is delighted to be a part of Atonement's smaller, but just as vital, community. She moved to Fishtown in 2018 and lives here with her husband and 2 of her 3 daughters (the 3rd is 4 blocks away with her husband and daughter). Soon after moving, she retired from her job as a school registrar, leaving time to volunteering at Atonement.
